Summary of Responsibilities and Activities:
SALES
Responsible for meeting with primarily residential clients to introduce The Green Fuse and explain our company services and capabilities.
Client interactions will range from initial contact at prospective client properties to assuring a completed design installation with successful results for the client and company.
Listen attentively and effectively communicate to potential clients and thoroughly assess their landscape needs.
Develop creative solutions through a landscape design and installation.
Follow established company practices and collaborate the best systems to sell projects.
Responsible for meeting or exceeding company and team determined monthly/quarterly/annual revenue and net profit goals.
Always represent The Green Fuse professionally while communicating with a client in a timely and respectful manner.
Provide excellent client service and facilitate a great client experience by exceeding client expectations.
Regularly record all client prospects in assigned sales planner and track progress with timely follow-up and correspondence. Manage sales pipeline, project workflow, and deadlines.
Drive business development and innovation by attending weekly management meetings.
Actively further knowledge and enhance professional expertise by participating in various seminars, associations, and training activities.
DESIGN
Assess landscape issues and provide practical, proven, and beautiful solutions for client’s needs.
Conduct thorough site assessment to determine needs based on environment, while providing creative solutions, plans and details pulling the project forward from concept to final design.
Create design presentation packages and collect necessary samples for client presentation meetings.
Responsible for producing detailed job folders for each client installation and coordinating with Operations Manager to ensure a successful project installation.
Prepare construction details and/or 3-D renderings as needed.
Responsible for submission of designs to any approving bodies (HOA’s, Municipalities, etc.).
ESTIMATION
Perform quantity take-offs and develop estimates in LMN for designed projects to present to clients
Obtain proposals from and review all subcontractor proposals for feedback and accuracy prior to client review
Prepare Proposals and Contracts
Utilize best practice construction knowledge of landscapes and hardscape features (i.e., pergolas, hardscapes, masonry), irrigation and lighting design/installation techniques, grading, and drainage.
PROJECT OVERSIGHT
Oversee the construction of project and work professionally with install team installing the project; make site visits, assist in layout, plant, and boulder locations, etc.
Consistently manage all projects to project budget; create and present timely change orders
Manage your personal book of business, sales pipeline, project workflow and deadlines
See a project through from point of sale a quality finished product; maintain excellent customer services, communication, and experience throughout
Qualifications:
Landscape Architecture degree is a plus, but not required
Knowledge of Colorado horticulture, landscape construction, and estimation
Proven design/sales experience
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD and/or DynaScape
Positive disposition a must

Job Duties:
Assist in the preparation of job sites prior to the beginning of a project
Operate various tools and equipment, including but not limited to chainsaws, jackhammers, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, dingos
Assist in the construction of walkways, fences, posts, etc.
Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning on a daily basis
Dig ditches or trenches
Perform land clearing activities
Plant and maintain garden beds and lawns
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required to complete landscape construction projects
Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and hand lifting/carrying
Assist foreman with job-related tasks
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
Comply with all company policies and regulations
Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
Requirements:
Minimum one-year experience in the landscape/construction industry preferred but will train the right person
Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
Time management skills
Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time, and carry out strenuous physical tasks
Preference will be given to candidates with a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
